After 5 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I found the wonder of mothering slowly starting to get crowded out by the mundane feeling. I realized our world seems to surround people with the negative, and complaining about blessings seems totally acceptable. So I decided to fight against that "normalcy" and focus only on the positive. I look back to my first year as a mom when everything was new and keeping house was fun and I aim to have that attitude again. This blog is my outlet to showcase the daily miracles that surround me in my blessed life as a stay-at-home mom so that I will never forget the wonder of it all.

  1. Oh I love love love it!!!
    You look so radiant!
    Just catching up here, Jenny-
So sorry to hear you've been on bed rest! That is so difficult- I have been on modified bed rest
for three out of my four pregnancies, for pregnancy induced hypertension. I understand
    how it can be.
Sending you love and prayers for health and peace to you all!

    1. Thanks so much! Its been an interesting few weeks around here with me down so much. But this morning we did school in Mama's bed and it was cozy and fun. I was glad to do that because school has gone by the way side over the last few weeks. We're keeping it simple for now with just reading, writing, and math, but I think that's more than fine for this life change at the moment. :)

    2. Oh dear, when we were expecting Sun school definitely went by the wayside! We did what we could when we could, and found in the end we had actually done a whole lot. :)
