After 5 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I found the wonder of mothering slowly starting to get crowded out by the mundane feeling. I realized our world seems to surround people with the negative, and complaining about blessings seems totally acceptable. So I decided to fight against that "normalcy" and focus only on the positive. I look back to my first year as a mom when everything was new and keeping house was fun and I aim to have that attitude again. This blog is my outlet to showcase the daily miracles that surround me in my blessed life as a stay-at-home mom so that I will never forget the wonder of it all.

Felicity's First Haircut

My beautiful Felicity is nearly 4 1/2 years old.
She has never had her hair cut!
We love her hair, but it was getting kind of straggly, and it tangled so easily!
She and I were both tired of struggling to get all the tangles out each day.
Change was needed, even though her Daddy couldn't watch.  :)

Lissy said her new cut was "lit-ta-tee", which is her word for beautiful.  :)

Her new cut made her feel pretty silly.

Oh this beautiful girl.......Mama has no words....ugh!

How's that for "baby's first lock of hair"?

A very proud girl of her very first haircut.
Pure joy.

  2. A good trim makes it look fuller and healthy! What fun! Hope the tangles are easier now.
