After 5 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I found the wonder of mothering slowly starting to get crowded out by the mundane feeling. I realized our world seems to surround people with the negative, and complaining about blessings seems totally acceptable. So I decided to fight against that "normalcy" and focus only on the positive. I look back to my first year as a mom when everything was new and keeping house was fun and I aim to have that attitude again. This blog is my outlet to showcase the daily miracles that surround me in my blessed life as a stay-at-home mom so that I will never forget the wonder of it all.

Dirt

We got our raised bed dirt yesterday.  Very exciting!
Even more exciting was that the place Zac went to get it didn't have enough for him and they had to redirect him to their other yard.  Because of his troubles they just filled the whole trailer, which gave us a free 2 yards!
Where to put the extra dirt?  Guess we better build more raised beds!  :)

The kids, and even the dog, were mesmerized by the dump trailer Zac rented.
Denver whined with excitement every time Zac lifted the dump trailer.

Lissy was such a good big sister and held tight to Kian while Zac moved the trailer.

He thinks she's pretty funny.
LOVE when these two "talk" to each other.
I swear they have a language only they can understand.

Who needs T.V. when you can watch Daddy dump a trailer full of dirt?
