Felicity and Kian watered our new seeds (still in the Jiffy trays) with this wonderful rain water.
This, and the fact that our very large Santa Maria style b.b.q is overflowing with water after being left under the eves of the house, makes Zac extra anxious to harvest rainwater from our roof. He's been reading up on it for a while.
Next Spring.
such fun to harvest the rainwater. We just started last year w/ a rain barrel, and I must say we love it! What a great way to reuse.
ReplyDeleteI saw your post over on Our Ash Grove about making waldrof dolls, just go for it. Your first one may look a little funny to you, but your wee ones will love it so much. I get wool from my friends shop swiftrivertoys, and I often get supplies from weir dolls. I make them quite a bit, feel free to contact me if you have questions along the way.
Angie, thank you so much and I'm sure I'll be contacting you with questions. :) And it's nice to "meet" you through Melanie's blog.
ReplyDeleteJenny...your photos are beautiful!!! A lovely idea to harvest what is freely given and return it into something useful. Simple. Wonderful. Fun.
