After 5 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I found the wonder of mothering slowly starting to get crowded out by the mundane feeling. I realized our world seems to surround people with the negative, and complaining about blessings seems totally acceptable. So I decided to fight against that "normalcy" and focus only on the positive. I look back to my first year as a mom when everything was new and keeping house was fun and I aim to have that attitude again. This blog is my outlet to showcase the daily miracles that surround me in my blessed life as a stay-at-home mom so that I will never forget the wonder of it all.

All GG's Great Grands!

Our first day down South, Zac, the kids, his sister, his nephew, and I all piled into our van.  ALL the seats were occupied.  I had the honor of squishing my pregnant self between Kian and Lissy's car seats in the WAY back.  Are you laughing just picturing this?  :)
Anyways, we headed down to San Diego to take the kids to see their GG!  While we were there, Zac's cousin came over with her two girls.  We couldn't pass up this photo opportunity!

Here is GG and all 6 of her great grands!

Well, we tried.
And it makes for good memories.
On top of not liking to be separated from Mama, Kian is in a phase where he doesn't like getting his photo taken, is very nervous in large groups of people, and is (FINALLY) getting his two year molars.  Poor kid.  As a once SEVERELY shy child, I can totally understand his anxiety here.  And of course, in the end, once we dismissed all the kids, Kian stopped crying, and sat quietly next to GG.
:)
