After 5 years of being a stay-at-home mom, I found the wonder of mothering slowly starting to get crowded out by the mundane feeling. I realized our world seems to surround people with the negative, and complaining about blessings seems totally acceptable. So I decided to fight against that "normalcy" and focus only on the positive. I look back to my first year as a mom when everything was new and keeping house was fun and I aim to have that attitude again. This blog is my outlet to showcase the daily miracles that surround me in my blessed life as a stay-at-home mom so that I will never forget the wonder of it all.

    1. Tiny? Lindley, you're too kind. :) This is the earliest I've shown by far. But that's ok. Baby is forcing me to tell by making itself quite noticable. I needed a little push. :)

  4. oh lord. Oh wait. Congrats first :-) your kids look fairly close to mine in age and I'm expecting my 4th in June. For some reason, the last week my kids, all of them, have turned into monsters. So, of course, I have too. Yelling and screaming, looking for 5 seconds of quiet. I'm beginning to rethink this whole pregnancy thing. Too late I know. Well glad I could share in your joy lol. Just kidding. Bad days fade and good ones take their place. Congratulations for real!

    1. Awwww....thanks Patty Jean. My husband was leary about this announcement set up as our kids don't often respond instantly, but I told him there's no loss in trying. Certainly better than just sitting them down on the couch and filling them in. So needless to say, I was thrilled when they were thrilled and I actually got some good pics. I think I'll frame a few and hang them next to the crib. :)
